Heath House,
Alsager, Cheshire

We wanted to create a warm and cosy welcome to our clients beautiful property. We worked with the original floor tiles and architecture to introduce colour and interest with deep green panelling and a large scale neural wallcovering inspired by a 17th century Sri Lankan batik.

We layered contemporary art, with antique furniture and custom upholster to create a layered, timeless and organic look.

We had a custom flatweave runner made for the staircase inspired by the colours in the hallway floor tiles. We also created a custom gallery wall up the staircase with precious family photos.

When Peter visited initially he really listened to how we live as a family and how we wanted the space to work and to feel in the end. He more than answered our brief and knew what to suggest and when, coming up with thoughtful, beautiful but practical suggestions for our home. We found that we developed an excellent professional relationship with Peter and that really understood us as a family. When he did his presentations, his suggestions felt right and he gave us the confidence to go with some exciting and unexpected choices that we feel have truly made our home spectacular. On top of that, he took out all of the stress, worries and hassle that we did not want to have to deal with. His turnkey approach left us with beautiful and fully finished spaces that we can just enjoy living in. We have worked with other interior designers before but really feel that what Peter offers is special, elevated and tailored specifically to us. It feels like he immerses himself into our home, comes up with beautiful schemes, executes them professionally and has left us with a legacy home which we are really proud of.

In the living room we wanted to zone the space and keep it casual for every day lounging. We also included a reading nook in an underused corner, perfect for sitting in with a cup of tea and a good book.

In the dining space we wanted to define the zone with a green silk wallcovering and an antique rug below. Oversized bronze lanterns give glow over the custom table and custom upholstery.

In the media room we wanted to create a sense of drama and envelopment. We used a textured fabric wallpaper all around the room in an inky blue, with a custom sectional  for ample seating, great for movie night or watching the game.

Peter was brilliant from day one. Very professional, took control of the project, communication was great - everything went very smoothly. We loved the look of the design on paper and it translated beautifully into our house. We have had so many compliments. The install was super easy and Peter organised everything. We have just asked him to undertake another project on our behalf. We would highly recommend him. - KC Client

In the principal bedroom we sought to create a comfortable retreat for our clients. Focusing on textures and a muted colour palette with our signature layering of old and new, we created a beautiful sanctuary for our clients to start their day.

In the walk in wardrobe we wanted to create a jewel box effect by using a dark colour with a mild sheen on all the joinery and the ceiling. This played with the mirror fronted doors and stood in juxtaposition with the main bedroom space. A vintage runner finishes off the space as a catwalk moment.
