SO SO EXCITED!!! As the first blog post from the new house I feel that a slight introduction is warranted. I am Peter and this is the blog about interiors and the house renovation for the first house I own with my partner Sam. I am super excited about the whole thing, and a bit awestruck that we actually got such an amazing house.... and here it is!

We moved into our new (old) house at number 18 last Friday and after a mad weekend of having people round, hunting for mugs and champagne glasses and figuring out how the cooker worked, we can finally say that we are IN!
This house was built in 1890 and is a semi-detatched late Victorian house in Cheshire, UK. It has oodles of character which we adore! Here are some photos of the stunning stained glass, the wood coving, staircase and panelling. There is a lot of history here and my intent is to preserve and restore and in some parts re-instate features, and modernise the whole house to make it work for our modern lives. I can't wait.

​Obviously time will be key here...as will budget (*cough*) but its the start of a new adventure and a chance to express the interior designer in me.
